We descended beneath the water, entering a world hidden from the surface of waking consciousness. There, we encountered something extraordinary, the egg of a dragon.
We caught it. But the moment we did, everything changed.
The mother dragon began to chase us.
Relentlessly. She would not stop pursuing us, for dragons do not abandon their eggs.
There was an urgency to escape, to keep moving, to get away with what we had taken. Yet behind us was a force that would not surrender what belonged to her.
As I went back to my waking consciousness. I suddenly wonder . . .
What happens when we discover something powerful in the depths, only to realize that the discovery itself carries a responsibility?
Am I ready to understand the power of what I have discovered?
Can I remain present with the unknown without allowing urgency of fear of loss to determine my choices?
And when I encounter a powerful force, can I seek understanding instead of simply trying to escape its consequences?
What if the thing I reached for in the depths was not just something I found, but something that would change the way I understand what it means to take, to protect, and to let go?
