As I drift into the dream state, I saw myself carrying a child around elementary age, perhaps 9 or 1o or maybe younger. I didn’t question where I was going. I simply knew.
I was being chased, yet there was an inner knowing that I had to reach the river.
There was something within the river, a spirit portal, a passage between realms.
I intuitively jumped into the water, carrying the child with me. And in that moment, something shifted.
The child’s physical body remained, while his spirit had already separated and crossed through the portal.
I understood that I was not there to save him or change what was happening.
I was simply assisting him in his transition.
A quite passage from one realm to another. And somehow in the dream, I knew exactly what I was there to do.
Some transitions are not meant to be resisted.
Perhaps they simply ask us to trust, surrender, and be present.
“It felt less like an ending and more like being present for a passage from one realm to another.”
